If none of the big studio comedies coming out this summer have you particularly excited, the good news is that there are a few decent indie alternatives hitting theatres over the next few months. The Overnight is a Sundance favourite that landed U.S. distribution back in January and it is described as a sex comedy for the thirty-something crowd. It stars Adam Scott and Taylor Schilling as an uptight husband and wife who move to L.A. only to find themselves being pushed out of their comfort zone by their free-spirited neighbours, played by Jason Schwartzman and Judith Godrèche. The movie is written and directed by Patrick Brice (Creep) and executive produced by Mark Duplass.
