Although Starz has yet to build up the same stable of original programming as HBO, Showtime or Netflix, they have had a few interesting shows thus far including Party Down, Spartacus, Boss and Black Sails. Now they are adding another half-hour comedy to their line-up this year called Blunt Talk, which is created by Jonathan Ames (Bored to Death) and executive produced by Seth MacFarlane. The show stars Patrick Stewart as a drug-addled British newscaster who moves to L.A. to host a talk show. It looks to combine elements of Californication and The Newsroom, focusing on a pretty loathsome main character with potentially hilarious results. Blunt Talk premieres sometime this summer; check out the first trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
