First Official Photo of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor

When it first announced that Jesse Eisenberg would be playing Superman villain Lex Luthor in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, many fans were unsure that a neurotic dweeb could portray such a formidable foe. However, it also implied that this might be a slightly different take on Luthor, something that Zack Snyder has claimed himself. Well, this week we have our first official photo of Eisenberg in character and it looks pretty much as you’d expect. Granted, it’s just a black and white headshot so there’s not a whole lot to analyze here, but spoiler warning… he’s bald! What do you think, does Jesse Eisenberg fit the bill here?     I was hoping the first animated screencap was Jesse Eisenberg. :-/
    As I suspected, even if that’s really his shaved head, the proportions make it look like a bald cap.

    OK I mean it’s not like we haven’t seen a actor play Lex with a bald head before.

    I hope this turns out better than I am anticipating. It would be a bummer if this movie just bombs and ruins the DC cinematic universe.

    I hope the movie turns out great, but it most likely won’t. If that’s the case it hopefully bombs so we’ll be free of big budget Snyder movies going forward.
