New on Netflix: March 2015

netflixhouseofcards3

With the arrival of March comes another slew of new titles being added to Netflix… but is there actually anything good? In the U.S., highlights include Nacho Vigalondo’s cyber thriller Open Windows, horror anthology sequel The ABCs of Death 2, Top Gun, Three Days of the Condor, Beverly Hills Cop, Event Horizon and Taxi Driver plus a handful of classic ’90s comedies like Billy Madison, Black Sheep and Groundhog Day. New additions in Canada include the Friday the 13th reboot, Mean Girls, Judd Apatow’s This is 40, The Boys from Brazil, Gran Torino and End of Watch. Both regions also get the third season of House of Cards and the Dan Harmon documentary Harmontown. Will you be adding anything to your queue? Check out the full list of new additions after the jump and let us know what you think.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer is a fucking brilliant movie. I feel like this film is not mentioned nearly as much as it ought to be.

  • devolutionary

Yeah it’s pretty great. Love the way it was shot, the choice of colour, and Ben Wishaw was brilliant in it. I’m thinking that film was his “coming out” party [pardon the pun]. Unfortunately, it was removed from Netflix Canada sometime last year.

  • Colin

Looks like I’m watching Twilight so I can see what you dum-dums are talking about

  • ECONOMYpolitica

    Harmontown is unwatchable.

  • Has anyone watched Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt? Finished the last episode yesterday and I really liked it. Sense of humor more similar to 30 Rock than I gathered from the trailer.
