Harrison Ford Injured in Plane Crash Landing

harrisonfordcrash

Less than one year after Harrison Ford was seriously injured in an accident on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, reports are now coming in that the actor has been involved in another serious accident. This one took place in California after a small plane that he was piloting malfunctioned and was forced to make an emergency landing at a golf course in Venice, CA. Ford has been a licensed pilot since the ’90s and was previously involved in a helicopter crash back in 1999 (as referenced in The Expendables 3). Original reports about this latest incident stated that he was in critical condition but we are now hearing that he is in fair to moderate condition. We’ll have more info on this story as it develops but in the meantime let’s keep our fingers crossed that he makes a full recovery from this unfortunate accident.

His son, Ben Ford, tweeted that his dad is “Battered, but OK!” This was about 8PM 3/5.

He survived by jumping out the back on an inflatable raft.

  • Colin

Professor Henry Jones: I didn’t know you could fly a plane.
Indiana Jones: Fly, yes. Land, no.

Not only did he crash the plane on a golf course, but among the first people to reach him was a spinal surgeon. I’ve heard of “ambulance chasers” but this puts a whole new reverse spin on things. What a great way to retain your business.
