Judd Apatow’s Trainwreck Trailer Starring Amy Schumer

Update: A red band trailer has also been released and is now embedded after the jump.

Here’s the first trailer for Judd Apatow’s next film Trainwreck, written by and starring Amy Schumer. It’s the first time that Apatow has directed from someone else’s script, but he seems to have taken an interest in collaborating with female comedians especially after working with Lena Dunham on Girls. Bill Hader is playing the love interest in the film, which is an interesting turn for him, but much of the supporting cast is coming straight from Apatow’s celebrity rolodex including LeBron James, John Cena, Amar’e Stoudemire, Marisa Tomei and Daniel Radcliffe. Trainwreck hits theatres on July 17th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

Colin Quinn sounds uncannily like Harvey Keitel at the beginning of the trailer, so much so that before they revealed him I thought it was Keitel.
I will stifle my disappointment and say I will watch this anyway.
Odd that J-Ap’s usual posse isn’t in this, but at least Dunham isn’t involved.

LBJ looks surprisingly good in this. There is nothing that guy can’t do.

  • God that’s a long trailer. Looks good though.

The biggest surprise here is that John Cena is fucking funny in both of those trailers.
