New on Netflix: February 2015

newonnetflix

With some fairly lacklustre selections in theatres this time of year, it’s nice to know that we can always count on Netflix to keep us flush with movie watching options. Moving into February we’ve got plenty of new additions, although perhaps not quite as many stand outs as we’ve seen in previous months. In the U.S., some of the biggest titles include Rian Johnson’s The Brothers Bloom, David Gordon Green’s Joe and Alexandre Aja’s Horns, but there are also a handful of fun cult classics like Showgirls, Starship Troopers, Re-Animator and Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead.

As for Canadians, we have the teen drama The Fault in Our Stars, historical drama Belle, and Clint Eastwood’s Oscar-winning Unforgiven arriving this month plus Anna Karenina, The Descendants, Gangster Squad and the Ian Ziering masterpiece Sharknado 2: The Second One. American viewers also get the first two seasons of Magic City and all five seasons of MASH, while both regions get the second season of Bates Motel, the entire run of Spartacus and the Canadian travel show Departures. Will you be adding anything to your queue? Check out the full list of new additions after the jump.

Thanks for the post, Sean! Maybe I will rewatch Coach Carter. I just noticed they brought back The Verdict. That’s an awesome movie everyone should check out!
