Adam Green’s initial claim to fame as a horror director was recapturing the old school sensibility of ’80s slasher films with Hatchet, but now it looks as though even he has come around to embracing the current horror trend: found footage. His latest film, Digging Up the Marrow, purports to be a documentary about artistic representations of monsters, but everything changes when he is approached by a mysterious man who claims that monsters are real. Green plays himself and Ray Wise plays the man, but even if the faux doc isn’t entirely convincing it still looks to feature plenty of creepy imagery. Digging Up the Marrow hits select theatres and iTunes on Feb. 20th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
