Sad to hear that Frank is absent from this episode, but glad to hear that he’s back hard at work!

  • FoxMulder

Good stuff! Big fan of this show, like the cherry on an already fantastic cake. :)

  • devolutionary

I was a pretty big admirer of Waveform (although I could never complete it) so I’m definitely interested; too bad I’m not the biggest RPG fan. Just a heads up, Citizens…is currently 20% off on Steam this week.

I don’t know how big Game Junk’s audience is but just want you guys to know how much I enjoy and appreciate the show. Very interesting insight in the show and especially this episode. Keep it up fellas.

  • Sam

    Thanks for the show guys.

I don’t believe CoE is cross-buy, right? I’ll probably take advantage of the PSN 10% off they are doing from 1/23-1/26 for getting hacked and use it towards maybe picking up both the PS4 and Vita versions as I’m not sure which to get right now.

Fascinating episode, was awesome hearing all of the behind the scenes information. Bought the game as soon as I got home and while admittedly it took me about 20 minutes to acclimate to the style, I’m loving it now.

I’ve had one crash to desktop in my few hours of playing so far, but that’s the only real issue and it is a super minor one (DA: Inquisition crashes all the damn time!). Tonnes of fun.

Can’t wait for Grim Fandango. Replayed it a couple of years ago and it was still awesome.

  • Sam

So decided I didn’t want to wait until 1/23 for the sale and decided to buy the PS4 version already and really enjoying the game through the first hour. Have about 4 recruits and cranked up the difficulty with that school mascot guy and got my ass kicked in the forest.

Definitely going to have get this on Vita too as it seems perfect on that for me. Will be nice playing this and the Resident Evil HD Remake over the next few weeks as well as finally playing Grim Fandango when that comes out.

I bumped the difficulty up a bit too and got my ass handed to me in the virtual reality room. Those viruses are bad dudes. I may just go back to normal difficulty because I suck.

I named the conspiracy citizen Knuckles in honour of Frank. R.I.P.

  • Sam

Hah! I named the same guy simply Frank.

I also named Mom as “Mama Knezic”. I’m hoping there’s a potential uncle figure to use Terry on.

  • Frankie Knuckles

    Mom Mentality!!!

Great show, guys. One question though regarding going 3D with Citizens of Earth – how would that have caused you to not be able to ship on Vita? I could see the game ending up too complex graphically for the 3DS to handle without downscaling a lot, but I’d be surprised if that was the case for the Vita, looking at the type of game you developed.

I’m a bedroom developer myself, also working in 2D, so this was a fantastic listen. Hopefully I’ll be able to find even half the succes that you guys are having :)

Hope the Order 1886 turns out good. It could be a good candidate for a review on the show.

Can’t wait to try Citizens of Earth.

    Woot! A New Game Junk!
