Yeah, half those movies in the Worst Of category make absolutely no sense to me. I was pretty picky about quality control for theatre watches in 2014 and I could think of several others with a concensus worst pick.

Still surprised Ida wasn’t in the foreign category. Overall, this is pretty good. I personally loved The Babadook and consider it one of the best horror films in a long time. Same with Under The Skin even though it’s classified as sci-fi.

I thought Robocop was exceptionally well done for yet another 80s movie remake. It exceeded my expectations with nice nods to the original while wholly crafting something new and very relevant. I’m surprised to see it on the worst list.

I deleted my tallies but if I remember correctly the #10 picks for Worst Movie all tied with 6 votes each. I think Godzilla had at least 10 votes.

I’d like to see raw vote counts in addition to the percentages…would be nice to understand how Godzilla and Apes sneak onto the worst of list

I should’ve specified ‘one of the worst’ but my point still stands. I think what you said is true, but I also think people might’ve accidentally wrote it in, thinking it was for Best Movie of the Year. It is entirely possible that people disliked the movie that much.
