I agree especially after the horrible Green Lantern film, Reynolds wants to be remembered for playing Deadpool, NOT Green Lantern (even though he wasn’t the main reason why the film was disappointing).

I hope Ryan Reynolds does the character justice. As much as I hated how they ruined the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, I have faith DC will do better the second time around. Let’s just hope they learned from their past mistakes.

Deadpool’s pretty much a PG-13 character though and always has been, aside from a brief Marvel MAX run. The violence has always been over-the-top and cartoonish, so if someone’s griping about Deadpool getting a PG-13 treatment, they probably don’t know Deadpool very well as a character at all.

I hope i t’s not going to be the same type of Deadpool that we saw in the movie X Men Origins Wolverine. Because that Deadpool sucked.

This is very exciting. I think Reynolds is perfect for the role of Deadpool.
