December ushers in a plethora of new additions on Netflix Instant this week as our friends in the U.S. get a slew of James Bond movies plus The Omen trilogy and the first eight Friday the 13th flicks and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Some other noteworthy catalogue titles south of the border include Michael Mann’s Thief, David Fincher’s Panic Room, Apocalypse Now, The Truman Show, Labyrinth, The Hustler, Saturday Night Fever and Clive Barker’s Director’s Cut of Nightbreed. If you want something more recent, check out Knights of Badassdom, Oculus or the British sci-fi anthology series Black Mirror.

In Canada, the list of older movies isn’t quite as deep, but we do have The Godfather Trilogy and Scrooged. However, the newer releases are much more impressive with a solid line-up that includes Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, Jim Mickle’s Cold in July and Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive.
