HBO’s Togetherness Trailer: A New Comedy from The Duplass Brothers

When Girls returns to HBO in January, it will be accompanied by a brand new half-hour comedy series that is also coming from an indie filmmaking background. Togetherness is created by mumblecore heroes Mark Duplass and Jay Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff Who Lives at Home) and revolves around two middle-aged couples “reconciling their dreams with their current personal and professional lives in Los Angeles.” In additon to Mark Duplass, the cast includes Amanda Peet (The Way Way Back, 2012), Melanie Lynskey (Up in the Air, Heavenly Creatures) and Steve Zissis (Baghead). Togetherness premieres on Sun. January 11th at 9:30 pm; check out a short teaser trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
