New on Netflix: Django Unchained, Snowpiercer, Under the Skin

As we wrap up October and head into November, there are still a handful of decent last-minute titles being added to Netflix Instant this week. In the U.S., the biggest releases are Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained and Bong Joon-ho’s Snowpiercer, but there are also some noteworthy TV titles including the Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond mini-series and new seasons of Sons of Anarchy and The Carrie Diaries. In Canada, it has been difficult to decipher what is new since they seem to be re-adding a bunch of old content, but the standout additions include Under the Skin starring Scarlett Johansson, Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem and the new Adult Swim animated series Mike Tyson Mysteries (although only one episode is available so far… what gives?). Do you see anything worth watching? Check out the full list of new additions after the jump.

If nothing else, at least I can check out Under the Skin and Zero Theorem again. Title aside, I hear that Mike Tyson show is pretty bloody ridiculous.

  • So Zero Theorem is worth a watch? It looked so-so from what I saw in the trailers.

If you’re a Terry Gilliam fan then you owe it to yourself to see this. If not, then you’re basically going off of the dystopian, darkly comic, zany setting that he employs in a lot of his films. I would call it Gilliam-lite though; Brazil this is not.

  • Cool, then I guess I will give it a poke!
Thanks for the quick run down!
