It’s kind of a slow week for DVD and Blu-ray releases as far as big blockbusters go, but if you’re looking for some last minute Halloween viewing options, there might be something here for you. The biggest releases of the week are Scott Derrickson’s horror thriller Deliver Us From Evil starring Eric Bana, Zach Braff’s latest indie dramedy Wish I Was Here, and James Franco’s Cormac McCarthy adaptation Child of God, along with Kim Ki-Duk’s latest controversial endeavour Moebius. Elsewhere, Criterion is re-issuing George Sluizer’s The Vanishing on Blu-ray along with The Complete Jacques Tati. Other notable catalogue Blu-ray titles include Clive Barker’s Nightbreed and Mario Bava’s Planet of the Vampires. What will you be picking up this week?
