Although he’s probably still best known for providing the voice of Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid games, David Hayter is also a screenwriter who has worked on several high-profile comic book movies including X-Men, X2: X-Men United and Watchmen. Now this month he will make his directorial debut with Wolves, a low budget genre flick about two opposing clans of werewolves and the high school football star who finds himself in the middle of their war. With a cast that includes Lucas Till (X-Men: First Class), Merritt Patterson (Ravenswood), Jason Momoa and Stephen McHattie, this looks like Twilight with a bit more edge. Wolves hits VOD on Oct. 16th and select theatres on Nov. 14th; check out the red band trailer after the jump and see what you think.
