Pixar’s Inside Out Teaser Trailer

insideout

This year was the first year in the past decade that we did not see a new Pixar movie hit theatres, so I think we’re all pretty eager to see what’s next for the beloved animation studio. Although three of their last four movies have been sequels, Inside Out looks to be a return to more original material with Pete Docter (Up, Monsters, Inc.) at the helm. There’s a lot of reliance on Pixar’s past in the first teaser trailer, but then it sets up the basic premise of the new film, which is that we follow a group of characters who represent the various emotions inside the mind of a young girl. It’s not exactly mind-blowing (ahem), but I think it certainly looks promising. Inside Out hits theatres on June 19th, 2015; check out the teaser trailer after the jump and see what you think.

This looks like trash. Pixar sucks. “Let’s color code each of these characters so that their personalities stand apart”. Lazy, ugly characterizations.

Ummmm I must admit Pixar has lost my interests for awhile…the last movies that I really liked were Toy Stories 2 and Up! Otherwise they haven’t really done anything interesting of late.

But I am hoping for their renaissance…and I hope this is it.
