Let’s face it, any movie that involves a search for lost Nazi gold is probably starting out on the right foot. Add a tense and claustrophobic setting like a submarine, throw in a cast that includes Jude Law and Scoot McNairy, then top it off with the director of Touching the Void and One Day in September and you just might have a winner on your hands. In this case, the script was also written by the creator of the U.K. series Utopia, which is currently being remade for HBO by David Fincher. The only thing that has me a little worried is the January release date. Black Sea hits theatres on Jan. 23rd; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
