Netflix is continuing to bring some pretty decent original documentaries to their streaming service this year and the next one on their slate will be the 3D printing doc Print the Legend. They acquired the film after it premiered at SXSW earlier this year, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Award and won a Special Jury Award for editing and storytelling. Directed by Luis Lopez (Chevolution) and J. Clay Tweel (Make Believe), the film explores the insane potential of this rapidly developing technology and also some of the controversy over 3D printed guns and weapons. Print the Legend debuts on Netflix on Sept. 26th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
