David Cronenberg’s latest film Maps to the Stars already premiered at Cannes and throughout France earlier this year, and now that it has also played at TIFF it looks as though a domestic Canadian release is imminent. eOne Films have released a new trailer for the film this week and it continues to look like a dark, off-kilter Hollywood satire and not at all what you’d expect from the king of body horror. Then again, I’m sure he wouldn’t have it any other way. Reviews have been somewhat mixed thus far, but I’m looking forward to diving off the deep end with this one. Maps to the Stars hits theatres in Canada on Oct. 31st and a U.S. release date is still TBA. Check out the new trailer after the jump and see what you think.
