Barry Levinson’s The Humbling Trailer Starring Al Pacino and Greta Gerwig

Although Al Pacino hasn’t been offered a ton of great roles on the big screen over the past few years, it looks like the world might be due for a Pacinaissance. He has a couple of intriguing films premiering at TIFF this month, one of which is David Gordon Green’s Manglehorn, and the other being Barry Levinson’s The Humbling. The latter finds him playing an aging Broadway actor who somehow stumbles into a relationship with a young lesbian (Greta Gerwig). The supporting cast includes Dianne Wiest, Kyra Sedgwick and Charles Grodin, among others, and the fact that Levinson recently directed Pacino in the HBO movie You Don’t Know Jack probably can’t hurt either. The release date for The Humbling is still TBA but for now you can check out the first trailer after the jump.

    Congrats Sean

You are officially the first person to use “Pacinaissance” so you own it. Methinks it won’t come to pass long-term so enjoy the moment!
