Jennifer Lawrence in Talks for Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight?

The first teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film The Hateful Eight will be making its debut in theatres with Sin City: A Dame to Kill For this weekend, but before you go buying a ticket just to see it, you might want to temper your excitement a wee bit. From what we’re hearing it doesn’t actually show any footage from the film, which isn’t a huge surprise considering that Tarantino hasn’t even started production yet. Another thing that the teaser does not reveal is the primary cast of the film, which up until now has remained a mystery. We previously heard that the cast of the live script read might be pretty close to the final cast of the film, but now this week we’re hearing that someone new has been added to the line-up. That new addition also happens to be one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood right now: Jennifer Lawrence.
According to Collider, Jennifer Lawrence is currently in talks to join Tarantino’s upcoming western, The Hateful Eight. From what they are saying, it is way past the wish list stage and her involvement will likely just come down to scheduling. Still, both Tarantino and Lawrence can pretty much do what they want at this point, so if they both want to make it happen, they probably will.
The question is, what role would Jennifer Lawrence play? Only one member of The Hateful Eight is a woman. That role is Daisy Domergue aka “The Prisoner” and was performed by Amber Tamblyn during the live read. Zoe Bell is rumoured to be playing the other female role, Six Horse Judy. Could she be replacing one of those actresses or did QT add a new role just for J-Law? Hopefully we’ll find out soon enough. What do you think, would Jennifer Lawrence be a great addition to The Hateful Eight?
