It’s turning into a pretty big year for comedy sequels, and although I wasn’t crazy about the original Horrible Bosses back in 2011, it seemed to go over quite well with audiences at the time. Now Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day are back for more borderline justifiable criminal activity, this time apparently hatching some sort of kidnapping scheme to get back at an investor who screws them over. Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Aniston are also returning (sort of), although it seems that the main villains will be played by Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz. Sean Anders (Sex Drive, That’s My Boy) is replacing Seth Gordon in the director’s chair, not that the difference is particularly noticeable.
