    First movie-boobs experience for me was in The Toxic Avenger (1984). I had a friend who was raised by a single mom and was kinda poor, so we’d always go over to his house to watch Rated R movies. The scene consisted of some boobies that are revealed, only to be burnt to cinders on a grill. It really shaped me into the boob-burning man I am today.

    I don’t know if ‘welfare’ is accurate but my thrifty parents refused to spend real cash on Transformers toys. To my 6 year old mind, the Tonka licensed GoBots were more than sufficient. Even then I’d have to settle for the lesser vehicles.

    I was thrown when I saw Matt Gourley listed as a guest! He’s insanely funny on Superego & The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project (I haven’t head the James Bonding podcast). Anytime I see mention of H.R. Geiger, I can’t help but think of Gourley’s impression of him and laugh (H.R. Geiger stands for, Hey! Really Geiger)!

    Nagy is getting married this summer and Singe recently had twins, so that’s keeping them both pretty busy. Would love to have either one of them back but it’s a lot harder now that we are all getting older and don’t live in the same city anymore.

    One of the problems with inviting guests on the show is that they usually have to go out of their way to watch the movie we are reviewing, which is a bit of an imposition, not to mention the fact that our shows can be pretty long. It’s a lot to ask of someone, especially if they’re not generally blogging or podcasting on their own already.

    I haven’t seen the new Transformers, but I’ve been in to clean it during the end credits several times, so please correct me if I’m wrong, but is there NO Linkin Park at the end of this thing? They’re like the official band of Transformers or something. I feel like I can’t take these films seriously anymore…

  • I’ve seen a good amount of movies but I don’t think I would ever be at a point where I can guess what score is playing from a .5 second clip. You guys are amazing. Of course that might just be because I never really pay attention to the score. I could probably name a few dozen scores if I had free access to the whole song, and it was a movie I’ve seen a bunch that happened to have a memorable score (like Jurassic park, terminator, etc)
