With just half a season of Mad Men left to go, series creator Matthew Weiner is looking ahead to the next phase of his career, possibly with big screen aspirations. His feature film directorial debut Are You Here (previously titled You Are Here) premiered at TIFF last year to mostly middling reviews, but now it’s about to hit theatres so that the general public can judge for themselves. The movie is a family dramedy starring Zach Galifianakis as Ben, a man who travels home with his best friend (Owen Wilson) after his father dies. When he finds out he has inherited quite a bit of money, that doesn’t sit well with his sister (Amy Poehler). Are You Here hits select theatres and VOD on Aug. 22nd; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
