Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie Trailer #2

supergroovycartoonmovie

After taking it on the road for exclusive screenings across North America throughout 2013, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes’ foul-mouthed animated film Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon Movie is finally about to hit home video next month. The movie was mostly Mewes’ baby, but loosely adapted from Smith’s Bluntman And Chronic comics and directed by Smodimations animator Steve Stark. Phase 4 Films have just released a newer, mercifully shorter trailer to promote the VOD release and it looks every bit as juvenile as you’d expect (not that that’s necessarily a bad thing). Jay and Silent Bob’s Super Groovy Cartoon hits VOD on May 6th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

no interest whatsoever, I liked Smith when I was younger, Clerks just about stands up, everything else has aged badly, and everything after, and including Dogma has been woeful. The animation sucks, and it looks terrible

  • Jason Hermsen

It is not self-parody anymore. Suck the juices out of the bone marrow that was clerks until you get up to 500 lbs., you talentless and lazy sack of crap.

  • Just plain trash. Horrible.
