Here’s the first trailer for a mysterious mindbender of a movie that premiered at Sundance earlier this year and seems tailor made for fans of Lost. The Signal (not to be confused with the three-part horror film from 2007) is directed by William Eubank, who previously did that weird Angels & Airwaves film Love. The plot revolves around a group of MIT students who are on the trail of a notorious hacker in the Nevada desert when they suddenly encounter some scientists wearing hazmat suits. They soon find themselves quarantined in an unknown location without being told what exactly has happened to them. The Signal will be released by Focus Features in select theatres on June 13th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
