Here at Film Junk, it’s become something of an annual tradition to record a live podcast just prior to the Academy Awards and then continue the discussion in the chat room as we sit down to watch the Oscars on TV. Even if you don’t really care about the Oscars themselves, it’s a fun opportunity for fellow Film Junkies around the world to get together and talk about movies with us. This time around we’ll be reviewing Non-Stop starring Liam Neeson and doing the usual stuff before taking some questions from the chat room. The podcast will start this Sunday, March 2nd at 5 pm EST on our Ustream channel (assuming we don’t have any minor technical delays, which we probably will).

This year we’re also setting up an Oscar pool ahead of time to add a little more excitement to the proceedings. The winner will earn bragging rights plus a $50 Amazon gift card.
