I LIKED the second movie. Yeah, it had some really bad acting and a few dodgy effects, but that seemed to suit itI liked the third one too until it became a low grade pitch black clone in the final third. And I can’t forgive the pure cheese of those flying bikes. Seriously, I could make that scene more believably myself. And they keep changing how badass Riddick is. In Pitch Black he gets beaten up by Johns twice, and gets knocked out by a girl. In the second film he was so badass that they needed to give the bad guy superpowers, cus nobody else stood a chance 1v1. In the third film we hear about how one alpha Furyan can kill 30 necromongers with his bare hands, yet Riddick struggles to beat up one merc. Just how weak are these necros supposed to be? Oh, and the dog in part 3…whose idea was that? Don’t pull that crap again.

There’s a few movies out there that I’ll stop flipping through channels to watch even though I’ve seen them a dozen times. Terminator, Rambo, Predator, aliens, Pitch Black, etc and all there sequels. Movies for guys who like movies us know.

Honestly am I the only one who actually liked the second one? I enjoyed the first very much but I thought the second one was great, don’t see what everyones problem is with it.

Unlike the Film Junk trio I really like the Riddick films – especially the third one. Can’t wait for another entry.

Awesome news! It had its faults, but the director’s cut of Chronicles of Riddick is a film I really appreciate and enjoy. It’s a pretty crazy and ambitious thing when you think about it – building from scratch an entire fantasy lore in the middle of an action/adventure film that was the follow-up to a low budget sci-fi horror. More Riddick I say.

I am very happy for the news. I am not the biggest fan of “Riddic
universe” but i sure like these movies. Especially 1 and 3. I would love
to see how Riddic will crush Urban’s charecter for his betrayal. And
just to go in this world for one more time (or more) seems to me like a
good perspective.
