To coincide with its world premiere tonight at Sundance, the first official trailer for The Raid 2 has just pummeled its way online. Unlike the previous teaser trailer, this one finally lets loose with a no-nonsense barrage of action, proving that they have upped the ante in terms of both the scale of the fights and the variety of locations and scenarios. (Yes, they’ve even got some car chases this time around.) That being said, they’re clearly still holding a lot of stuff back so as to avoid spoiling the best bits before you get to see the movie. I’m sure we all wish we could be in Park City tonight to experience it, but The Raid 2 will be coming to select theatres in North America on March 28th.
