How to Train Your Dragon 2 Theatrical Trailer

Here’s the first full trailer for what will easily be one of the biggest movies of 2014, DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon 2. As expected, there are plenty of endearing interactions between Hiccup and Toothless and lots of impressive aerial combat, but we also get some new revelations about Hiccup’s past as well. It all leads up to what seems to be a pretty epic large-scale battle. What do you think, does this look more impressive than most of this year’s mediocre animated sequels?   • I’ve been hearing there’s a fairly large spoiler in the 1:00 – 1:45 range? I don’t how much of a spoiler it is, but the nicely done teaser and knowing the first was good is enough reason to see this.

    Yeah, it’s a good trailer but a bit spoilery. And I’m in the same camp, the first was of such a level of quality that I’d see this anyway.

    From what I can tell, it seems like it’s going to be a first act reveal, so nothing too catastrophic. Looks great though, seems like it’s going to have a much bigger scale than the last one.
