By now, many of you have heard that BBC has set a premiere date for the third season of Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. It is becoming a bit of a New Year’s Day tradition in the U.K. as the first episode, entitled “The Empty Hearse”, will air on Wed. Jan. 1st at 9pm, with the next two episodes following on Sun. Jan. 5th and Sun. Jan. 12th respectively. In the U.S., PBS will premiere it a few weeks later on Sun. Jan. 19th at 10pm. I don’t think I’m alone in saying that I’m very curious to see how they continue from the end of season 2.
