I enjoyed Carrie and thought it was a particularly well done remake. Most remakes stink. Moore and Moretz were a fantastic team. However, there were a few parts where I was like, “Come on! She’s a telekinetic, not God.” I thought the final scene with Carrie and her Mother was equally as good as the original.

I keep thinking I have replied and it doesn’t post. Yes, the split screen in the original was awesome and innovative. This remake is entirely pointless. The only people who will enjoy it are people who never saw the original. It’s rather boring, and for a 90 minute run time, that’s bad news.

I remember that caught me by surprise. Not entirely sure how I feel about it.

This remake looks like an exercise in pointlessness. It makes for the most boring trailer I’ve ever seen in my life.
