Metastasis Trailer: Breaking Bad Gets a Spanish-Language Remake

If you’ve already found yourself jonesin’ for more Breaking Bad, here’s a little something that might scratch that itch. Sony Pictures Television and Teleset are remaking the AMC series for Latin America under the name Metastasis with the setting transplanted to Colombia. Diego Trujillo stars as Walter Blanco, a chemistry teacher who starts cooking meth with his partner-in-crime, Jose (Roberto Urbina). It’s unclear if they plan to take the story in a new direction, but the series will air across Latin America on various networks and also in the U.S. on Univision’s UniMas. No word yet on a premiere date, but in the meantime, check out the first trailer after the jump and see what you think.
