Toronto After Dark 2013 Line-Up Announced

Now that TIFF is out of the way, it’s time for genre fans in the Toronto area to turn their attention to the next major film festival on the docket: Toronto After Dark. The 2013 line-up and schedule have been unveiled this week and it looks like they’ve gotten their hands on at least a handful of promising flicks. Apparently moving back to October (as opposed to August) hasn’t prevented them from securing some decent Canadian, if not North American, premieres.

Some of this year’s notable horror flicks include Jim Mickle’s cannibal tale We Are What We Are (which is also the opening night film), plus Ruairi Robinson’s Last Days on Mars and Bobcat Goldthwait’s found footage bigfoot movie Willow Creek. They’ve also got the SXSW audience award winner Cheap Thrills and, surprisingly, the latest film from Stephen Sommers! Will you be in attendance this year? Check out the full line-up after the jump or visit the official site for more info.
