Just in case you haven’t heard, it’s true: a Dumb & Dumber sequel is finally happening and both Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are reprising their roles as Lloyd and Harry respectively. Shooting is now underway in Atlanta the two stars have tweeted out photos of them returning to these characters for the first time in almost 20 years. The Farrelly Brothers are directing from a script by Sean Anders and John Morris (We’re the Millers).

While it’s hard to see them recreating the magic of the original film at this point (especially based on their recent output), Jeff Daniels claims that “there are some things we’re going to do in Dumb and Dumber To that make the toilet scene [in the original] look lame.” Either way, it’s pretty jarring to see him go from playing Will McAvoy in The Newsroom to this.
