The Art of the Steal Trailer Starring Kurt Russell

There’s nothing like a good old fashioned heist flick, especially when you’ve got a decent cast behind it. The Art of the Steal (not to be confused with Don Argott’s 2009 documentary of the same name) is Canadian director Jonathan Sobol’s second film after A Beginner’s Guide to Endings, and it premieres at TIFF next week. Ocean’s Eleven it ain’t, but based on the first trailer, it looks like it could still be a fair bit of fun.
The movie stars Kurt Russell as an aging motorcycle daredevil named Crunch Calhoun who also considers himself the best wheelman in town. After being released from prison, he teams with his half-brother (Matt Dillon), his son (Jay Baruchel), a veteran thief (Terence Stamp) and an expert forger (Chris Diamantopoulos) to set up one last score. What could go wrong? The Art of the Steal hits theatres in Canada on Sept. 20th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
