Since Terry Gilliam’s twelfth feature film is almost upon us, it seems like an ideal time to look back over a directing career that has now spanned nearly four decades. From his work with Monty Python through to more mainstream hits like The Fisher King and 12 Monkeys, he has covered a lot of ground and made some highly respected films over the years. Of course, there have been a few misses along the way as well, but at least you can always count on him to deliver something unique.
