Watch Werner Herzog’s 30 Minute Documentary on Texting and Driving

As Werner Herzog continues to try and get his Gertrude Bell biopic Queen of the Desert off the ground, he has kept himself busy with plenty of other random projects including a TV series follow-up to Into the Abyss called On Death Row, a live webcast and mini-documentary on The Killers, and a Kickstarter video for Omnivore salt. Now this week he has released a 30 minute documentary on the dangers of texting and driving entitled From One Second To The Next. It is a part of AT&T’s It Can Wait campaign and it gets under your skin in a way that only Herzog can. To quote Herzog, “I’m not a participant of texting and driving — or texting at all — but I see there’s something going on in civilization which is coming with great vehemence at us.” Check out the full documentary after the jump and let us know what you think.

Love it! Already seen a few CBC investigative reports on this (just for their angle) but I’m sure it’ll be a real event when Werner Herzog directs one.
