X-Men: Days of Future Past Viral Video Offers First Look at Sentinels

In addition to the massive combined cast for X-Men: Days of Future Past, one of the big things that fans have been excited about is the promise of seeing sentinels in an X-Men movie for the first time. Now this week Fox has launched a viral marketing campaign giving us our first glimpse of the giant mutant-hunting robots. Using an all-too-familiar gimmick, they have launched an official website and promo video for the fictional company that builds the sentinels, Trask Industries (Peter Dinklage plays founder Bolivar Trask). They’ve also released a couple of anti-mutant propaganda posters as well. X-Men: Days of Future Past is being directed by Bryan Singer and hits theatres on May 23, 2014; check out the video and posters after the jump.

    Love the posters!

the posters are amazing.. but that moon -ripoff fake add is not sitting very well for me.

I think maybe is because the irony is too obvious..

They should make the robots look like Robin Williams :p

This isn’t the first time the Sentinels were in an X-Men movie. Wolverine cut the head off of one in X-Men The Last Stand

  • Sean

It’s been a while, but wasn’t that just a simulation? And don’t you basically just see the head?

  • Banana-Puss

That’s true, but it still counts!

  • Sean

    Fair enough.

  • Derek

Agreed! This makes the Sentinels look like the bad guys, which they are in the context of the X-Men. The propaganda is all confused in this marketing strategy.
