Cold Comes the Night Trailer Starring Bryan Cranston and Alice Eve

Bryan Cranston has come a long way from the days of Malcolm in the Middle. With the final season of Breaking Bad set to wrap up this summer, his movie career seems to be flourishing. In addition to starring in the Godzilla reboot next year, he also has a smaller crime drama being released later this year called Cold Comes the Night. Directed by Tze Chun (Children of Invention), it was apparently acquired by Sony just as the first trailer was being released online.
Cranston plays a Russian gangster who takes a young motel owner (Alice Eve) and her daughter (Ursula Parker) hostage in order to recover money from a crooked cop (Logan Marshall-Green). It looks like another bad ass performance from Cranston and the good news is that his Russian accent is better than John Travolta’s. Cold Comes the Night hits theatres in the U.K. on Sept. 20th but it does not yet have a U.S. release date. Check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
