How to Train Your Dragon 2 Teaser Trailer

Here’s your first look at the upcoming sequel to the DreamWorks Animation hit How to Train Your Dragon, and as far as teaser trailers for animated movies go, it’s actually pretty decent. It’s unclear if this is an actual scene from the movie, but we get to see Hiccup and Toothless soaring through the sky, trying out some new tricks before Hiccup takes off his helmet to reveal that he is noticeably older. At the very least, I’m sure the sequence looks great in 3D. Are you looking forward to this sequel?     I think it looks pretty good for a teaser as well. How To Train Your Dragon is probably one of my favorite animated films of recent times and I’ve been cautiously optimistic about a sequel. Going older with the character was something I was honestly not expecting and I kind of appreciate it.

    I did see that it was being developed as “the second in a trilogy” and that gives me some cause for concern because when people do that it seems to most often end up bad news. Even if they do tell an ongoing story I’m really hoping they allow them to be self contained stories and not pull a Pirates of the Caribbean.
