Here’s the first teaser trailer for The Boxtrolls, which is the next feature film from Laika, the same studio that brought us Coraline and ParaNorman. Based on the illustrated novel Here Be Monsters! by Alan Snow, the story revolves around a group of creatures who live underneath the streets of Cheesebridge. Feared by humans, they adopt a human boy named Eggs and raise him as one of their own. With a unique art style and a voice cast that includes Simon Pegg, Elle Fanning, Toni Collette, Ben Kingsley, Jared Harris, Richard Ayoade and Tracy Morgan, this looks like another winner from Laika. The Boxtrolls hits theatres on Sept. 26th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
