Fun Fact: Thirst is Michael Fassbender’s favorite film of 2009. It’s mine as well. He has great taste.

  • Gerry

Jay should check out Buddy Buddy, another Billy wilder film with Mathau and Lemon.

I’m pretty sure it’s widely regarded as being a piece of shit but I found it very enjoyable.

I think the KOC would definately enjoy it too.

  • Jr

Fun Fact: The Romancing the Stone score is awesome.

  • Napalm

That was a funny intro to the show haha!

  • James Starkie

Loving the White House Down clip.

  • Kasper F. Nielsen

1½ minute in and the show so far is hilarious!

  • George Taylor

You’re not giving a clear info of the title of the song (“End title”? Of which movie?). The same goes for the outro song.

Why did Jay not talk about his Dark Knight Rises Rewatch???????

  • Jay Cheel

Because there was nothing to add other than simply having rewatched it. It’s an attempt to keep the show moving.

  • jay_h8ter_666_420_69

Jay messed up his own nickname. “Duke THE Spook”? I mean… my GOD.

  • Wintle

Frank, you’re on crack. Richardson from Hot Rod is awesome. When he chucks the leaflets in peoples’ faces and dances; fucking gold. Hot Rod is a stone cold classic. Turn in your crown, KoC.

Thanks Jay, love the show as allways. Can not wait for you independence day commentary.

  • rocco rocco ali

    Can it, stooge!

  • devolutionary

Although referenced by Jr earlier in the comments, both tracks are indeed from Romancing the Stone.

  • Owozifa

I’d never heard of Remo Williams before this podcast, and it’s a real bummer to find out when it’s apparently out of print. Though, with all luck maybe Shout Factory will release it. They seem to license a lot of that weird MGM stuff.

How did Sean watch it? Is it on Netflix? Backlogged DVD viewing?

  • patrik

I would add The Strangers and Vacancy to the horror list. Vacancy is 2007 though so it’s stretching it a little bit.

  • Sean

It was recently added on Netflix in the U.S. but you can also watch it on YouTube at the moment:

Top 5 horror movies since 2008:
    2-Let The Right One In
    4-The Loved Ones
4 out of 5 are foreign films, kind of interesting.
Honorable mention: Stakeland, House of the Devil, The Woman
    Top 5 comedies since 2008:
    1-Forgetting Sara Marshall
    2-Role Models
    3-I Love You Man

  • Andrew James

No one mentioning IN THE LOOP as one of the best comedies of the past five years!?
