Production is now underway on the Platinum Dunes reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (which will apparently have “Teenage Mutant” in the title after all) and some early photos have started to leak out from the set. They have given us our first look at Megan Fox as intrepid reporter April O’Neil. Although she is not wearing a yellow jumpsuit in any of the images, she does have a yellow leather jacket… sounds like the vision of TMNT that I always knew Michael Bay would have.

We also get a glimpse of Will Arnett in a couple of the photos, which seems to indicate that he is a co-worker or boss of April O’Neil at Channel 6 News. This week also brings news that William Fichtner has joined the cast of the movie in a lead role “with iconic stature in the Turtles’ mythology.” The general belief seems to be that he will be playing The Shredder, which coincides with the fact that he has been playing a lot of villains lately.
