Alas it’s another extremely dry week for DVD and Blu-ray releases, but hey, there could still be something here that you’re interested in. (Maybe.) The biggest release of the week is the awards season dud Hyde Park on Hudson, which didn’t receive many positive reviews but does star Bill Murray as Franklin D. Roosevelt. Other new releases include the Jet Li film The Sorcerer and The White Snake, the indie sci-fi drama Womb, and the Astron-6 / Troma horror flick Father’s Day. On the small screen, we’ve got the second (and final) season of Boss starring Kelsey Grammar, and on Blu-ray, Criterion re-issues David Cronenberg’s Naked Lunch.
