It’s that time of year again, folks! Oscar is nearly upon us and we hope that you’ll join us for another evening of inane banter and feigned interest as we partake in the grand tradition that is the Academy Awards. We’ve decided that we’re going to broadcast this week’s Film Junk Podcast live prior to the Oscars (audio only) via Ustream. We will then leave the chat room open for the remainder of the evening as we continue to watch the show and provide a running commentary along with all of you.

The fun starts this Sunday, Feb. 24th at 5 pm EST although we may or may not start precisely on time. For the most part it will just be a regular episode of Film Junk, but we’ll do our best to loosely tie it to the Oscars. I’m also going to look into setting up another online Oscar pool for everyone to participate in, which will hopefully make the night just a little more exciting. Check back right here on Sunday afternoon and we should have another post up with the embedded live feed. Hope to see you all there!
