Genndy Tartakovsky’s animated comedy Hotel Transylvania leads a pretty mediocre crop of new releases this week along with Martin McDonagh’s Seven Psychopaths, Paranormal Activity 4 and Cold Light of Day starring Bruce Willis and Henry Cavill. Animation fans might also want to check out Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 and Tales of the Night, while genre fans might consider giving Citadel, The Awakening or Bangkok Assassins a look. Noteworthy TV releases include Downton Abbey: Season 3 and Misfits: Season 2, and hitting Blu-ray this week we’ve got White Zombie starring Bela Lugosi, Ridley Scott’s The Duellists and a new Die Hard: 25th Anniversary Collection.
