In theory, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters has the potential to be a fun and demented twist on the classic fairy tale, but up until now it has been feeling like a muddled compromise between a studio blockbuster and true cult horror flick. Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton still seem completely miscast here, but I will say that this new trailer shows a little bit more promise (although it does seem a bit tame for a red band). At the very least, it looks like it will be more fun than Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, but that’s not necessarily saying much. What do you think, is there actually a chance that this won’t suck?
