Film Junk Poll: What is the Best Will Ferrell Movie?

To tie in with our current giveaway for The Campaign, we have decided to poll voters for an election of a different sort. Will Ferrell has built up a pretty impressive list of comedies over the past decade and even stretched his acting abilities with a handful of dramatic roles as well. He’s come a long way since his days on Saturday Night Live, but what is the best movie he has done to date? A few years ago I think there would have been a clear winner, but I’m hoping this will be a closer race than expected. Cast your vote in this week’s poll and then discuss your choices in the comments below.

Is this even a question? Although I really like Stranger Than Fiction and Step Brothers, I think we all know the winner.

  • patrik

Zoolander, but out of those ones I voted for Anchorman.

  • Glendon

    Zoolander.

  • La Menthe

Stranger Than Ficton – because that is where you see as little as possible of the bad WF humor. It’s the same reason Punch-Drunk Love is the best Sandler movie.

  • Anchorman is one that I just never, NEVER liked.

It’s a tie between Talladega Nights and Step Brothers. I voted for Step Brothers.

  • T. Heilman

Blades of Glory was garbage and Melinda and Melinda was pretty lousy. Everything Must Go was very good and deserves a place on the list, even though few people have seen it and the winner is predictably locked.

  • bilbo

How about “none” because Will Ferrell is an overrated man-child with no range of character?

  • Colin

Everything Must Go is unbelievably terrible.

  • Night at the Roxbury, or it didn’t happen.
